Professor Ahmet Ekin is currently the head of department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He was the head of Hand Surgery dept. ?n Dokuz Eylül University, school of medicine for 20 years. After studying Medicine at Ege (Agean) University Faculty of Medicine, Ercan decided to pursue a career in Cardiology. He also attended several cardiology specialized training courses in Germany, Australia and USA.

Dr. Ercan has over 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals. His expertise is especially in the area of “cardiovascular immunology ”. Presently he is an editorial member of five different international SCI indexed cardiology journals.
Dr. Ercan was certified for transcutaneous aortic valv replacement, mitra-clip, cryoablation, carotid stent implantation, percutaneous abdominal aortic greft implantation.

Biography
Istemihan Tengiz is a professor of medicine and an interventional cardiologist at Cardiology Department of Izmir University Medical Faculty. Dr. Tengiz's clinical interests cover a wide range of cardiology patients. In addition to percutaneous treatment of coronary artery disease, his expertise includes hypertension and preventive medicine. His current interests focus on preventive medicine for cardiovascular disorders.
Dr. Tengiz received his medical degree from Erciyes University Medical Faculty in Kayseri at 1997. He completed his residency in Cardiology Department of Ege University Medical Faculty at 2002. He entitled as an associated professor at 2006. He was appointed to ?zmir University Medical Faculty Cardiology Department as associated professor at 2011 and professor at 2013. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. He has directed or co-directed several national medical symposiums and conferences. He has also arranged public days about hypertension, cardiovascular risk factors and especially salt consumption.
Dr. Tengiz is a Fellow in the European Society of Cardiology and a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, European Atherosclerosis Society, European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions, European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, Acute Cardiovascular Care Association and Turkish Association of Hypertension Control.

Biography
Murat Arslan received his medical degree from Ege University Medical Faculty, Izmir in 1999. He was awarded his specialist certification in Urology from Izmir Training and Research Hospital (Director Prof. AR Ayder) at the end of 2004, where he served as a clinical instructor and subsequently chief of residents from 2005 to 2011. He began to work as specialist in urology at Medical Park Hospital in 2011 and became assistant professor at beginning of 2012 in Izmir University, Department of Urology. As a clinical and research fellow, he gained experience in percutaneuos procedures and urooncologic open surgery education with Prof. Alken at Mannheim University, Germany (November 2005), experience in laparoscopy, laser and endourology education with Prof Rassweiler at Heidelberg University, Heilbronn Training and Research Hospital (December 2005) and robotic ve laparoscopic urologic surgery with Prof Rassweiler SLK Kliniken Hospital, Department of Urology, Heilbronn, Germany (November 2010- January 2011, June 2011- September 2011). He became a “FEBU” (Fellow of European Board of Urology) in 2008 at two step EBU examination.
From 2005-2013, he worked with Prof. Ozgok, Prof Gozen and Prof. Tunc on laparoscopy training and joined the Turkish Urological Laparoscopy Group (Turkurolap). Over a period of 4 months in 2007-2008, he completed the fellowship training program endourology, robotic and laparoscopic urologic surgery, at Thomas Jefferson University, Department of Urology, Philadelphia, under the surveillance of Prof. Gomella. He served as an organizing committee member, course scientific secretary and trainer in national and international laparoscopy courses and symposia. Dr. Arslan participated as a live surgeon in the symposiums and national and international congress and one-to-one training meeting organized by Turkurolap and the Turkish Endourology Society. To date, he has published 26 Science Citation Index (SCI) and SCI-expanded indexed and 23 national manuscripts and numerous book articles, abstracts and conference presentations in national and international urology congresses. Dr Arslan, with his prime interest in minimally invasive management of urinary tract stone disease, urooncology, urological laparoscopic and robotic surgery and laparoscopy training, is currently working in the Urology Department of Izmir University.

Biography
Associated Professor Tayfun Adan?r is currently the Director of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Clinic, Medical Faculty of ?zmir University. Previous to this, he was the chief of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Clinic, Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital from 2010 to 2012. Previous to this, he worked in Atatürk Training and Research Hospital from 1989 to 2010, as the residency, the specialist and the lecturer. His specific teaching and research interests are in the areas of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care. He has published 15 refereed articles in journals covered by SCI and SCI-E, 31 proceedings, and 44 refereed articles in journals covered by Türk T?p Dizini, 68 proceedings.
Assoc. Professor Adan?r graduated from Medical Faculty of Ege University, Turkey in 1984 and his speciality in Anaesthesiology and Reanimation at the Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, ?zmir, Turkey in 1993.
